American Leisure Group Limited (AIM:ALGL), "The vacation resort company", today announces a strategic alliance with Carlson Leisure Group ("CLG") that will designate ALG a preferred family destination resort provider for the 1,700 owned and franchised travel agencies that fall within CLG's portfolio of businesses.
The alliance will enable travel agencies affiliated with CLG to take advantage of the growing year-round demand for world-class, family-oriented resorts in the world's leading vacation destination, Central Florida. The alliance will focus primarily on strategic marketing opportunities for family destination resorts in that region upon the 2008 opening of ALG's Sonesta Resort Orlando, Tierra del Sol.
